We are recruiting a Nature Recovery Advisor

We’re looking for an experienced Nature Recovery Advisor to join our Community Ecology Team at Wild Oxfordshire as we inspire and empower people across Oxfordshire to work together for nature’s recovery.

Office Base: Manor House, Little Wittenham, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 4RA

Work location: throughout Oxfordshire. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working in our beautiful rural office an average of three days per week (for full time role), including Mondays and Tuesdays. Additionally, some evening and weekend work will be necessary to attend community events (an average of once per month).

Work hours: 21 hours to 35 hours per week (3-5 days per week). As a flexible employer, we’re ideally looking for a person full-time but will consider part-time applicants or those that wish to work condensed hours (minimum 21 hours).

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,471 FT for 35 hours per week. Part-time salary will be calculated pro-rata. (at 1st April 2026

Are you an enthusiastic and organised ecologist or conservation professional, keen to share your knowledge with a wide range of people; helping them to create space for nature and connect with nature? Do you have experience of bringing people together to deliver shared goals? Are you a dynamic problem-solver with the ability to deal with the unpredictability of working with people and nature?
